Might as well type what I have been up to since yesterday.
So, yesterday was the day enrolling stuff starts in my college.. uni to you guis I guess. The interview went smoothly, but according to a friend I made there, no one really fails there. Before the interview, we were put in a room to draw a still life with things set on a table. I guess it's a talent test to see if you have potential. But as stated before, no one really failed. To fail, you must have a REALLY low exam score or a special kind of suck. xD
According to the person who interviewed me, my drawing below has "good lines." lol, if thats the only thing I did right, I'm scared on what kind of stuff we have to do. The person who interviewed me is also our prof. He told me he wanted his students to be active and not lazy and join as many contests as possible. It seems like, being a public college which is cheaper than most colleges, most of the teachers here are lazy. But, I'll make my own opinion once school starts.
So after the interview, I went home. Then the next day, which is today, I went back there to get a medical xray check (because of tuberculosis) and write more forms and do more requirements stuff. They told me the last steps will on Friday where you are given info and stuff needed like books, school uniform, and probably art supplies too. It's also the day you can pay for your tuition. I thought it was ₱6000 per sem ($133) but it's actually just around ₱4000 ($90).
So yeah. I'm so excited! :3
Also, my prof noted that I might have a hard time adapting since I never have picked up a brush before..
Any tips, buks, or preferably, free video tuts for traditional painting on canvas? c:
