Oh yeah, definitely Fergato. That's something I'm still trying to learn, even though its something fairly basic haha. Like I like the way how peoples do their draftsmanship the same way you mentioned it. IF anything I have like a visual map with draftsmanship on my desktop as a reminder where I want to head with my line weight :D

Great!
And let me tell you, it's not that basic, you gotta know well where to put the thicker lines, otherwhise it looks wrong, it's a thing that takes time. I'm still learning.
You can watch a Brandon Green's simple video about lineweight.

Hopefuly you'll find it interesting.

Hey there,

Its been few days since I last posted on here, and there is a reason for that. Currently some hiatus going on with my self learning approach hence why you haven't seen posts from me lately. Although I didn't stop drawing in the past few days. Just not posting as much. And I'm slowly coming to an answer on how I will be tackling learning in follow weeks/months to come.

Thanks for reading this message.

- Brian

Vilpu is soo good, you'll learn a lot! If you didnt watch him drawing on youtube, I recommend it! I've learned tons just by looking at his hand moves. xd

And those 30 second gestures looks nice already! :>

Changing my post format on this forum, will be posting once or twice a month. I'm now focusing mainly on learning landscape drawing. So will continue to do so in the next 90 days.

Zea- you're doing the hard work that must be done.(all wanna-be take note off this foundational work). You have become a senior member in two years! I've just restarted drawing myself. Keep going............. :ugeek: p.s. have you ever heard of a stump or tortillon? Is basically a stick of tightly wound paper used to blend graphite and charcoal drawings smoothly. Maybe check it out for finished work ;)

I have indeed. Didn't get any of it yet, but I will be starting with traditional painting this week. Buying supplies.
