That's actually not bad! I think youre good at it. I think repetition of what youre doing now will make you better. :) I like your color choice on the woods btw

Thank you! Oh yeah I gave up on the first one because there were too many trees and I couldn't be bothered. It's not that I don't like it, just too much for me.

All I ever want to draw is cats . . . oops. I still haven't learnt proper cat anatomy, I just apply canine anatomy haha.
I tried making designs of characters from this book series I read when I was 12 because when I used to draw them, the ginger cats were just paint bucket filled orange cats aha.

Kinda big image (it's 4000x7000 pixels). But yeahh, I don't know if this is a good composition or what but this is going to take a while to paint.
Also there's gonna be more cats in it.

I like this style, and I think it looks great. My only critique would be that they all have the same eye shape/size. It'd be cool to see more variety there.

I need to work on my front views ...

Actually that front view is looking pretty good in my opinion, side view on the bottom could use a lot of work thou.

Thank you! I'll have a go at that, I think it's because I wasn't really drawing any characters in particular (apart from Azula), so I just went with a "go-to" eye shape.

Thank you! I had two weeks off of school at the time, so that's why.
I didn't like the front view aesthetically, that's why I said I wanted to work on it. And I'll definitely work on my side views, although I'm not really sure what to work on??

Wow! As many others have said, your background studies/progress is coming along nicely! There is one thing I did notice from the ocean-side study above. I think you benefit from taking a bigger risk with contrast. I think this is especially true in water scenes. Either way, you're really on the right track because they already look really good!
