Hey guys! I've been drawing for a long time now but I never really got absorbed into an art community before and I really would like to find a nice small place to practice and make friends. So I'm going to be posting my sketches and meddlings here and hopefully get to know everyone as we all strive towards our dreams. :)

Today's damage thus far:

Edit:
Here's also my current WIP.

My favorite piece would definitely be the jellyfish one because I love the colors and designs. I always find jellyfish hard to draw. Nonetheless, I like your use of color! The poses look interesting (especially since they're from imagination). Regardless, keep up the work! I hope to see more. :D

Okay so today was the first day of the new semester for me and here is the first attempt at my first homework assignment. It was a self portrait contour done *on 24X36 newsprint with charcoal.

Alright so I've been gone from the forums for a minute but with the semester ending and me taking a break from school I want to start building this sketchbook back up!

So insert annoying beeping noise because I'm about to back it up and do an art dump. Also advance warning if it feels spammy while I post things. I just don't want to do on giant long post with all of it in it. ^^;

Edit:
First dump. A few things I was working on for a game project.

I really like the recent one and the girl sitting at a table alone. They really have story and emotion in them, I hope you do more with them :)

Thank you Dance! :) I will continue to work with them. I'm trying to get my painting tighter so I've been trying to practice in between sessions of working on bigger pieces. Here's tonights fruition.

edit: As a note I did notice the bottom girl's left hand (our right) is too big. I'm just too tired to fix it currently so she will have to wait til morning to be proportionate.

Haha thanks. I'm hoping to get a more consistent style though. Hopefully doing a piece a day is going to help me figure out what shape language I like best. :)

Today's sketch daily. The theme was dinosaur.

Edit: Forgot a letter. ^^;

Thank you! I think I focus too much on faces haha. It's what I focused on the most when I started drawing way back in 5th grade. Anywho, here is the latest work. :)
