I feel like the body is a bit too "rectangular"? Even male bodies have some curvature to them (especially near the hips)

You're right it could be slightly more curved, tbh I was not quite sure what I was doing with the body when I drew it.

I coloured the sketchup though, my painting process has gotten really efficient.

That crocodile with two sets of upper legs must have a funky walk o.o I mean, just think how silly baby crocs will look when they first learn to walk, stumbling all over the legs xD nice stuff

Thanks Roger,

Finished my concepts for the Armoured Iberian Cavalry, I did not spend as much time as I would on a painting as the important part is the idea not how well rendered it is.

For the face, I'd recommend to try to define the nose less on females, that's a big problems Ive been having, less shading usually is better for females, makes it feel more feminine. Other than that great work! :D

Yeah I am having trouble balancing realism with having a feminine face, if I did say a cartoon or anime style face it would be easy, but trying to do realism and keep it feminine is hard. those are some good suggestions I will try next time I do a feminine face.

Wanted to post a pic I did around 10 years ago, I did not improve near as much as I thought I would, but I can see so much improvement.

I also didn't draw on any consistent basis, I would say drawing and painting consistently now, I've improved more in the last year than I have in the 5 years before that.Goes to show that you can improve in a short amount of time if you are committed.

Here's a comparison of two similar pieces I did, concept art of the same historical unit. The difference between them is only slightly less than 4 months.
