Subject title: Sanguine's Sketchbook [NSFW]

Hey guys! Decided to post some pages from my sketchbook! Some of the drawings are okay, I think, but some are pretty bad too. Mostly working on faces and anatomy, so any critiques or tips are much appreciated :D Thanks!

Hi Alex.

You have great energy and linework in your pieces, they're pleasant to look at. The rendering of the girl in the last photo is also very nice.

What resource are you using for your muscular anatomy studies? The abdomen has some oddities going on, mostly the aponeurosis being absent and the odd appearance of the ribcage/obliques/serratus region. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Feel free to comment on my sketchbook, especially about linework, I just can't seem to get that down.

Thank you! :)

@LuisEC I use the Mara3D Iphone app for anatomy reference. I do understand that the abdomen is a bit strange, but I like the pronounced rib cage

The gestures, anatomy and the exaggerations of your drawings are extremely good. !

i don't know if this is really your own preference, but i see there are 3 female figures (the one that looks more realistic) have their nose placed too low :\ ? sorry if i was wrong :D

Yes, low noses are purposeful and part of my style :D I also tend to make small upper bodies and big hips/legs, as well as slightly bigger hands

Oh I really like the reflections and the shadows on the knight!
But could it be that the foots are a little bit too small?
I also really like your style in drawing bodys :3 awesome

Yes you're right, now that I look at it, the feet are a bit too small. And thank you! :)
