Subject title: arodude's sketchbook

Really like your sketches, you have a very nice flow that you give to your figures, makes them come to live really well.

Ah whoops I forgot to reply back in my previous post.

geryes- I'm super glad to hear they are!

Overloarder- Thanks, I'm glad to hear that!

RAC00NIE- Thanks! : D

These are some more doodle compilations from my absence.
I think this one below I was watching a ufc event.

The proportions are pretty bad but my focus was mainly to remember what muscles go where while drawing. The arm muscles especially I thought was something I had to draw repeatedly to understand placement.

Amazing studies, dude. And such an incredible amount of output, too. Keep up the hard work; it's really paying off!

Haven't been around. Kind of miss this sketchbook thread format and I don't know where else it exists anymore. So here's some personal and client work.

You can do environment AND characters? Your drawings are a real banger.
Loving the vibes of the last 4th drawing. The colors harmony makes it so pleasing to look at. The slight blur is a nice touch as well.
A drawing a day keeps the evil demons at bay.

I have had big regrets about not continuing my anatomy studies from over a year ago so I finally made time to do some studying.

Hello, hello.

I've been slowly following Nathan Fowkes' schoolism course on composition.

This was done for a Light Grey Art Lab exhibit.

Something for fun.

Awesome work man! The one with the guy in the water is really good. Love the sweeping lines of lily pads on the pond.

Both your studies and and finished pieces are so nice to look at. Really like how you can do both muscles and landscapes so well (both of which I really struggle at). Keep it up :)

Thank you for the kinds words Josephcow and laurenhiya21.

I've been doing studies from Asaro heads to learn about plane changes and values.

A portrait study. I think I should have spent longer on the lay in phase.

A virtual plein air off google streetview. Somewhere random in Santorini, Greece.
