I'm impressed with your dedication regarding the DrawABox exercises, in particular. They'll no doubt serve you well, for any art you hope to accomplish in the future.
Keep at it!

Keep failing at it, until you get to the point where you just can't fail again. That's how you get better at art.

I admire your dedication to studying fundamentals, I did a couple draw a box lessons but I stopped.

I'm planning to redevelop a sketching habit and get back to it.

Thanks Geryes, it was my first time using acrylic and I have next to no experience in painting so I'm pretty happy with what I was able to do.

More gestures, probably getting boring to look at lol. I've been slacking...

Those gesture drawings are really coming a long great. It's good that you can capture the gesture with just stick figures and I see you are putting more of the muscles on top. I think if you keep pushing this exercise you will eventually have a great library of poses to draw from in your head. Nice work!

Whew lad, if I took at least two seconds to look at each one of your drawings, I could still spend hours here. You do a lot of work and I think it's a wonderful thing to see.
I am a big fan of the environment drawings you did which I assume you made them in the place you were sitting at the time. I wouldn't mind seeing more of that if you ever get around to it lol. (Also a helpful video for if you do https://youtu.be/9MZbpVWVI7E)

Keep it up mayn, I enjoyed scrolling through your page.
Hey, before you keep browsin', check my art out if you haven't already!

Whew, damn! As always, your commitment to studying is extremely impressive. There's clear improvement in your gestures, so you can rest easy knowing that all this practice is really paying off. I'd definitely love to see some more original pieces from you using what you've been learning!

So. I told myself I wouldn't post here again until I had made something more original and finished, but stuff was stacking up so why not.

I basically didn't draw for the entirety of December due to being in a stressful situation where I still could have drawn, but didn't and I really hate myself for it, but there was nothing to do about it other than letting go of my frustration and to keep working. Regardless of that, I've been doing really well for the past few weeks and for the first time in my life had success in developing good habits and reducing unhealthy ones. I've managed to draw everyday for the past 25 days which is something I've never done. I'm also starting to break through a lot my fears of drawing certain things. I started a new sketchbook that's my eyes only where I just try to draw whatever I want without fear to help with this.

Anyways, here's the stuff. Part 1. Maybe one day I'll have a better camera.
