Hello folks, it has been some time. This is a month's worth of study in pretty much chronological order. I feel like I have at least improved my understanding a little, but of course have a lot of work ahead of me! A lot of bad with the good, but failure is part of the process so you just have to embrace it.

Rest in another post, couldn't fit it all!

Nice studies! I especially like the rectangular torsos at the top of this page; they're a nice simplification.

A bit of criticism on the most recent post: if you know something is wrong (as indicated by your own notes), don't just leave it! Fix it! Easier said than done, I know xD
But recognizing there's a problem is the easy part (this is why feedback from non-artists can still be helpful), fixing it is the real challenge and where the growth is imo.

Especially when it's digital, it's so flexible nothing is unfixable. I understand with trad stuff fixing it isn't so simple (this is why personally I'm largely avoiding it currently ;w;).
Sincerely.

A little more from imagination.

@Agitato, Hey, thanks for visiting my sketchbook! That is definitely some good advice that I should follow. Since I do a lot traditionally and I pretty much never erase anything I kind of just got into the habit of making a note of the mistakes and trying to keep them in mind for the next drawing. Something to work on!

A little something... Still trying to build that imagination. Trying to improve my value and light skills as I've always ignored them a bit and relied a lot on line.

wow! your figures are so inspiring to me.
I love the perfect combination of energy, construction and good line work. You really reminded me to go back to studying haha :)

yeah from the top of the page to the bottom....

you improved quite a bit, or at least your lines just got so free. and i really love that; so much of my favorite stuff is confident lines. your gesture is quite good too, very analytical.
hey man you like drawing wow crazy me too what are the odds wow small world wow
