Thank you guys for the nice feedback. I feel like I'm never online, but I definitely have not stopped drawing! (In fact since about February I've been pretty much consistently drawing every day maybe missing only one day here or there)

So! Here's just a little bit of my ventures recently... I've also started doing a bit of art for a little pen and paper RPG. Not getting paid or anything but the subject matter is right up my alley, I can pretty much draw whatever and whenever I want and I'm grateful for the drawing prompts from their bestiary.

ANYWAY, the first three things we have stuff for the RPG. Next we have an owl.... yep. Then we have the main character from a movie I just recently seen for the first time... and I don't think I'll ever be the same after... Next we have some shoulder/upper arm studies. I need to do more of those, honestly. And finally we have a couple of sketches of my OC, Felix. He's one of my favorite characters to draw ^_^

Unlike Vixie, that ENTIRE last update stole not just a piece, but my ENTIRE heart .. . or soul. Ha.

I really like where your going ;u; I can tell you've been improving a bunch and just -- everything you create is A++.

@Oli thank you! I was trying out this kind of minimal water color thing I saw and I kind of like it. It really suggests that she has very fair skin.

@Vixie thanks so much! The owl was pretty fun to do. And yes I did enjoy Eraserhead, although I think I enjoyed it more after I had a couple of days to think about it.

@Hybrid yay!!! I'm glad I get an A++! Best grade I've ever gotten!

@Octo thanks! I think it's those big goopy eyes that male owls so cute! :3

@Wolfen that really means a lot. I've been putting a lot of hours in and it's been quite the journey since the start of this sketchbook, for sure. BUT I STILL HAVE SO MUCH FARTHER TO GO!

Sooo! for a long time I had a pretty cramped drawing space that I had to share my computer with. It kinda demotivated me from drawing... but that is a problem NO MORE! I finally have my spot for strictly drawing! I put it together 2 days ago and I really like it ^_^

Also here are a couple things I did this past week. The last one is the first double page spread I've ever tried to do. So yeah, it's been a productive week!

So I did a few gestures tonight and I invite you to look back at pages 2 or 3 of my sketchbook at my first attempts at gesture drawing. It really has been a journey and I've got so much more of it ahead of me! It's exciting!

Wow, I have really not posted in a very long time! I've been very busy drawing, though! And participating in this year's Inktober! But before there here are a few drawings of cats I did in anticipation of getting a brand new kitten! My very first pet!7987ds (kitten just walked across the keyboard there.... I'm one of THOSE people know!)

The last one in the bunch is a self portrait with two of the kittens from the litter. We were trying to decide between those two kittens and we ended up getting the one on the right. I'll eventually post my Inktober stuff but this post is dedicated to KITTY DRAWINGS!!! Also I've included a photo of our new kitten Leonard "Bones" McCoy! He's a cutie!

Here's my first few Inktobers... I got a specific little notebook for Inktober and I wanted each day to be a full illustration that was a double page spread. Not every day is a winner but I haven't missed a day yet!!!

Whoo! Thank you all for the positive feedback! I meant to post the rest of my inktober drawings earlier but clearly... I didn't. So yeah here they are. Just note that there are about 4 drawings towards the end where I'm on a road trip and sadly I had very little time to draw. I wish I could have put more effort into them.

Amanda!! You are my inktober hero! Your drawings are so awesome and it's really inspiring to see someone stick to this challenge and put in such a great effort. You've totally inspired me to take this on next year! I need to somehow set a reminder for myself in about early-mid September so I can start to mentally prepare for it. I want to put a little bit of thought into it before-hand and try to keep my calendar relatively clear.

:Looks through inktober sketchbook again:

Really, wow! Such dedication. That must have taken some time just to upload them all! I love the ones where you drew the entire environment, the car, your room, etc. Your skill with spatial relationships seems really keen. Kim Jung Gi draws environments in his sketchbooks like that, have you ever seen them? He even has one in his car! If you haven’t yet, check it out, you’ll love it!

Congratulations on pwning October and on sticking with your studies. Your dedication is clearly paying off!!
