Your character designs have a really nice feeling of originality and comfort to them, or that's at least what I think.

Just keep drawing and drawing, I want to see some more.

Love that last character! So much right with it. My favorite bits are the big flared eyelashes/eyebrows. and the plasticity of the point of the hood.

I have a couple questions about your linework. How do you generally get those sharp tips? Do you cross two lines and erase the excess, or do you have a something that trails the tips off like that? Also what kind of brush settings do you use for your final lines?

Thanks!

Thanks! Sometimes the lines tapper nice enough on their own, but I often erase out parts to get it exactly right. Also I just redo lines over and over until they look right. I mostly just use the regular hard round brush these days and turn up the minimum opacity for inking, but I switch between 0%, 75% and completely solid depending on what I'm doing.

I did something.

Thanks for the info! Latest piece looks really awesome, although...is she supposed to be vibrating? That's the impression I get from the external lines. I think they are technically well done, but given the pose I don't see a cause for such movement. Given the hearts, possibly shuddering in anticipation/desire? Great execution otherwise, though!

Thank you, I've been trying to punch them up a lot more since I default to dull colors for some reason.

Too kind, my friend. Thank you :)

Haha, no shes not vibrating, but she could be bouncing on the ball a bit. I was just trying to add a bit of energy to it. Thanks.

Yea, you're right, it does look too weird. I adjusted it a bit. I guess I thought I could play it off as a creepy ooze face, but if it looks bad, then it's bad.

Edit: I changed her again to look like an undead ooze girl, since that's what she actually is.

This is something I'll be finishing tomorrow.

Thanks! I thought the same thing and drew is smaller to begin with, but when I stuck it on her neck it was too small. I got the scale of this head by drawing it on her neck. It's weird how different the size looks when it's not on the neck.

It hasn't been very long since I last saw your sketchbook but there's a heck of an improvement! Your paintings are much cleaner and refined, lines are more crisp and controlled, and colours match a bit more. Really well done on the progress XD
