I've never heard of that problem, but maybe you should draw every frame in that case, that'll give you a lot of mileage if your up to it.

Yeah, i know what you mean with moving images. Every now and then, I get ideas that just aren't static. I see the subject of the image performing an action or doing something. When this happens and i don't feel like doing an animation, I'll draw really quick, simple thumbnails of each key frame (usually 5 or 6). Once I get it on paper, the movement stops as I settle on one specific frame, the one that i like the most.

Another thing you could try to do is just start drawing, draw what ever comes to your mind as it comes. For example, if you start off drawing a face, but then start thinking of a car, start drawing parts of the car, integrated into the face. You might end up with some epic collage type thing. ( i tried experimenting with that on my last project, and I kind of like the randomness)

In all honesty, I think that thinking in movement/non stactic images is a good thing. It can help you open up to more creative ideas and stuff.Just make sure that went you do come up with an idea that you really like, jot it down fast and worry about the details later. None the less, good luck and keep drawing!

I just wanted to say to everyone on the forums that I'm sorry that i haven't posted any digital works. My computer has been down since december 25th lol. Despite that i've been drawing like a mad man with only pen. I am almost am done with my first sketchbook.

I have over 200 pictures. How would you guys suggest me posting them. Or would you recommend a different site that i can link my progress to.

Also how do i downsize most of my images to 1000px limit. I have a bulk of images that are way bigger than that. I tried compressing them in ps but its taking too long to do one at a time

just had an idea. I should make an fb like page and just have all my progress on their. If i did i'll let you guys know the name of it, instead of linking because i know how annoying links are on forums

I think imageshack.us has an option to restrict the image size. But I'm not 100 percent sure on that. You can use imgur as an album holder and it'll hold all your images.

Photoshop has "actions" and "batch process" features which allow you to automate tasks like that. You can resize an entire folder of images pretty easily. Just look up a tutorial on the subject: "batch process images". ;)

I'll give imageshack a shot thanks :D

I tried the batch thing a while back but to no avail photoshop elements doesn't have it. I should really consider getting a newer photoshop so i can have brush dynamics, and other tools. But thanks for fueling me to consider getting photoshop

One thing i've been working hard to do with this sketchbook and my prior one(which i haven't posted from that one yet....), is working without erasing. Erasing has plagued my stuff since i was a kid and i'm trying to break that with just using pen. I've been doing that over the course of the year but in the sketchbook i'm uploading i post a few hiccups of using pencil. I'm trying to embrace my mistakes and find clever ways to fix mistakes without pencil. Erasers are truly evil creatures.
