Subject title: Ambiguity's Sketch Dump

Those last 3 painting are pretty ass kickin'. I like the "don't let your babies let grow up to be an artists" one first I just laughed then I cringed and cried... You can make a rollercoaster of feelings with one picture :C
Technically these are better then I used to see, the colors got much better, you try to keep them really sober instead of go all out as I do what I really like. Keep at it man!

@Noba: Thanks, the face is pretty jacked up though so hopefully because of the angle :).
@Draff': Glad you get some use out of them, I feel like I can be clean to a fault sometimes.
@Flem: Thank you, just noticed all 3 of them have basic proportion and perspective problems though :P. As for the colors, I actually struggle with pushing them as much as I want to, but at the same time I don't want them to end up garish so I do try to remember I'll get contrast anyway simply because of color relativity.

Sorry for being so inactive, and I'm even more sorry for not having much to show for my time away. I've just been in a bit of an art depression between stagnating heavily last year despite drawing more than I ever have before, and not really knowing what I want to do with my art anymore. Boo hoo, I live :P.

I run out of ideas for posing really fast q.q

Been working on this for a few days:

I'm still pretty bad when it comes to backgrounds and presentation, but at least it's something.

I wouldn't worry about the background so much tho, and if you do you can always load your piece back and experiment with them later on regardless it's a new or an old painting.
Also I feel you got better again at rendering the hair, which turned out amazing! Nice work! Keep it up! ^^

I like that painted girl; the textures look really convincing. Also, the breasts look nice as well. With regards to your jpeg studies, I would try to avoid "hairy" hatchmarks.. I see some of those in your drawings. It's not a huge issue, but it's something to look out for, and good hatching can make an enormous difference in drawing quality. I study jpegs figures too, by the way. He's good. You should also check out Even Admunsen's drawings... I feel like studying him could help you out a LOT. Take a look at his artstation https://www.artstation.com/artist/mischeviouslittleelf

Lol I was talking to him about this comment yesterday, I was like "that's the last time I copy you!". Thanks for comments and crits, and yeah I know Even, he's got pretty cool stuff :).

Your poses look awesome. I've never really considered 'leading' with the torso or crotch before maybe I will think about that.

@wartynewt: The one sanguine posted is the only one he's ever had, if you just want updates from him then his deviantart is his most up to date gallery.
@Xiphor: Thanks mate.
@Josephcow: Thanks, and I'd take that stuff with a grain of salt, I have no idea if it means anything, I'm just grasping at straws trying to figure out a methodology for posing :P.

Been sick for a week now, still tried to gets some practice in though:
