Nah, kalo was making fun of the spambot I deleted that posted here. Somehow it got thru our 1st post moderation.

Lmao, thanks, and yeah I was gonna try to come up with some background, but she looked so much nicer on white so I just left it like that.

Okay so I have no idea why, but I for some reason always thought you were a woman? I was pretty surprised when I went to your YouTube channel and this soothing male voice started talking.

YOU'RE A GUY?????

@Joyce: Yeah, I wish it would pay off more often :\

I've been drawing a lot, but I've been having a hard time with it lately. 90% of it went to the trash, and the other stuff I don't feel good about showing, but here's the standard portrait from me:

Even your standard portraits have improved a lot in quality tho! I love how you add those splotches of bright color to the hair

Hey Ambi, checked out your sketchbook again after not being active for a very long time. Awesome work, your portraits are looking very strong, alot of the poses as well, they remind me of jpeg's work alot. Which is a really good thing ;). Keep at it, good to see you're still going strong!

@Joyce: Thanks mate, although I can't really take credit for the bright spots in the hair, that was kind of a feature of the reference I used, I just stylized it with a texture brush instead of detailing it photorealistically.
@warty': Thanks Warty, good to see you around. And wow, being compared to jpeg is high praise, although if you mean the poses look like his, it's probably because I was literally studying him and styleos(his biggest influence) lol.

Most of my sketches have been traditional or get deleted because I can't bring myself to care about saving them, so sorry there isn't much to see:

Last one is an update to an old piece I did. I really need a computer than can handle higher resolution files, 5k tall is just not enough resolution to paint something as detailed as my portraits when the full body is in view. I also shouldn't have painted this with masks, it always makes the edges too hard, but oh well .

.:Edit:.
Another paint sketch I did the day after the Black Cat:

Hey, it's been a hot minute. Here's a small collection of random stuff I've done in the last few months(finally got around to taking pics of some trad stuff I did before my last post too):

And finally something I've been picking at off and on since november of last year. I must have did at least 15 thumbnails(a lot of them deleted obviously) and no matter what I did I couldn't get what I was going for(I still didn't). Couple that with me being brand new to drawing dragons, being brand new to the process I was trying at the start, and not having any experience with multi character compositions, and you might be able to see how I blew 5 months on something that looks pretty simple:

First of all, great persistence, this sketchbook dates back to 2012 and you're still going strong, second, you've given incredible feedback to the members on here, I could totally see you as an art instructor. Whatever you decide to do, keep it up.
