Thank you for the kind words! this update isn't as big as I'd hope but it's something!

Don't be jealous lol
You have a decent handle on art, and you just gotta keep going for a couple of years and people will start telling you they're jealous of you.

Thank you! Progress comes to those who work hard, smart, and consistently.

Haha I think I push myself not hard enough if you ask me.
When I look at how much pros draw and how much work the pros do, I can't help but think that I have to catch up.
And to catch up, not only do I need to keep pace, but to do more.

Oh haha yeah! Thank you so much for drawing Resolve!
I think it's wonderfully nice of you to show me something you did for me.

Okay so I want to show you all some of what I've been doing with my brother at work as a character designer

@Telepurte You said your comic that you made at the end of 2016 - start of 2017 is dead now, but really, it has a tremendous potential, i think.
Maybe a bit stereotyped personalities of the mains (onizukafied guy and his gal), but the rough fair and strong guy (resolve, animus? ), sobering 'slut' (lust, anima? :D ), forum members as a side-kick characters, changing of personalities of characters through story development and overall vibe - all of this has kind of special beauty in it. (Didn't like animeish gore-y parts, but they was at minority in line with other good stuff).
I think those ideas are worth spreading, like fables and fairytails that has some ideological, educational, psychological and enlightening messages in them.

If, buy any chance, you ever revive a project - let me know, i would like to contribute in creation of something like that. And forum folks, will do, too, i think.

Dude your animations are really great, do you think it would be something you'd want to do professionally? How long have you been animating? If it's something you enjoy doing I think it would be a good thing for you to keep going. Seeing them really reminds that I need to kick myself in the ass and get going if I want to get where I really want to be.

Ayyy how can you fall behind when it's not a race to a same common goal? Don't worry about falling behind or having to get ahead or else some invisible and non-existant negative consequence will happen. Art motivated by fear of not achieving something or art motivated by fear in general will lead to burnout and kind of meh art. Why meh? because it's rushed, it's running away from something. If you only compete with yourself, you're in the mindset of always one-upping yourself and improving by that manner.
Take courage and enjoy what you do.

RAD!!

Yeah I kind of really don't allow myself to be proud of that comic because in my eyes, it was a failure. It was even worse because I invested every hour that I possibly could into the comic, which obviously lead to burnout, and my brain erroneously attributed burnouts to comics. I have a lot of resistance to making comics now because I think to myself "If I make a comic, it means I will have to make a huge commitment"
A lot of people have told me the idea of having characters that reflected parts of me is a really good idea, and I agree it's one of the best things about the world I created, because it is very flexible. I can do whatever I want because the characters are whatever I want.
When I tried to start telling a story, I broke myself. I am not a good storywriter, and investing so much time and effort into something that had no end was bound to kill me and my desire to make comics.
For this reason I am taking a big break from making comics, but I am thinking about picking it up next year.

Thanks man! I finished that job so maybe I'll be able to show my work later on.

The piece that stood out most to you is also one of my favourites simply because of how easy it was for me while also yielding good results. It makes me feel good that it looks good but I also think there needs to be improvement mostly in the way I do lineart. I'm not very happy with the clumsy bold lines that I call "lineart", but the drawing itself is something I can find satisfaction in.
Steeliebob wrote:Just damn, both your line drawings and paintings are sick. Keep going with doing all this amazing stuff

Thanks Steelie! I'm glad you like what I'd put my life into lol.
LK Crown wrote:Telepurte, you are a success in life!

Haha! thanks man!
Success is different for everyone, so I have yet to reach my own success.
Once I do reach my goal, I'll move onto the next goal.

Yo thank you! I would love to do animation professionally. I've been animating since 2008, at least that's when my first animations (which were done in pivot) are dated.
I'd love to tell my whole story but it's a lot to write and I'm thinking that it'd be better to just explain it in a video if people are actually curious about when I started drawing and animating and how the whole thing went.
When you say you need to kick yourself and get going do you mean you wanna get into animation too or that you have something you want to pursue and seeing someone else pursue their own dreams has inspired you to pursue your own?

Thank you everyone for the feedback! I am quite surprised at how much feedback I've gotten and I can't help but feel like I am very blessed. Again thank you so much.

This update was a bit slow because of the workload of my brother's work was taking away time from drawing, and I've set apart thursdays for traditional drawing only (which can't be shown immediately but I will show my sketchbooks later on in videos.)

So, have some sketches, paintings, and animations lol

Yeah man! do animation, krita is free and has animation capabilities (though it does take some getting used to for the controls and stuff) and macromedia flash 8 is abandonware which means you can aqcuire it by any means without worrying about the fbi busting in your computer for piracy acts.
My whole story is still being written as I live erry day.

I've worked pretty hard to get good enough at sketching so that it looks cleaner than the first things I did, which were messy and chicken scratchy.
Clean sketches = easier time colouring it and painting over it.
