Do you find sketching with this sort of brush to be helpful? I never really grasped how to use them well, I know they help with line economy and all but based on how I work traditionally I can almost never put one line down somewhere and call it done, I hate it but I need to rework things and that means more and more lines.

Ah no! This look like it would look so bad ass if finished! Looks pretty BA as is now. Sorry to hear your tablet isn't working. Is it the drivers? You might want to try using an older driver if it stopped working when you installed a new one, that's happened to me. Either way I hope you figure out something that works for you.

Location: Lithuania.... not really... I'm boring.

I love seeing your loose and viscerally satisfying lines! It's sooooooo refreshing.

I just noticed that I posted something on this sketchbook 2 years ago. You've really gone a long way! Makes me want to know what you'd be like after another 2 years :)

Thanks, it's a mixture of random photos on google and studies of Feng Zhu.

I haven't really thought about it's helpfulness with the line economy, although it's a lot harder to use than the soft brush I normally use so I guess it would help. I mostly just use it because I like the look, lol.

Thanks, I was able to resolve the issue. It was more to do with the laptop than the tablet itself.

Whoa, 2 years already. Time flies by so fast huh? Tbh, for 2 years I felt I could have made a lot more progress but oh well, I guess I just have to train harder!. Thanks though.

Character Design Sheet for Queen Lucy, a character for a very short comic I came up with. I still need to design a few more characters and the backgrounds as well for this. I've been in this constant state of getting new ideas for comics, only to lose interest in it in the process of planning it and then get an idea for another one. I need to force myself to stick to one project and see it to the end.

Thanks, the brush w/o line weight is difficult to use but I kinda like the loose drawing you can get by using it.

I think your character looks nice. And sticking to things is the hardest part of it, isn't it? :P I can agree to that.

Great looking stuff! I like all your different ideas and i think you a good sense of form and anatomy. I would work on solidifying and cleaning up your linework into a more finished state. You definitely have gesture down pretty well and i think if you keep pushing your work will go far. Keep at it :).
I too mainly draw girls.

Thanks, I should probably put in more effort and take it to a finished level.
