Subject title: Koffi's Sketchbook

And I'll definitely work on my side views, although I'm not really sure what to work on??

If you meant by that that you'd like a critique, then here it is (if not, then feel free to ignore the spoiler):
Spoiler: show
So regarding the side view of a guy on that page: his lower lip is overlaping the upper lip (normally, upper lip sticks out in front and has plane facing downwards, which catches shadows) and that gives impression that he sticks his jaw out to the front. He doesn't really have any lines for a chin (which can be ok in some stylised work, but you usually want to have some curve there). And the most bothersome issue is that shape of his eye (in side view eyes become somewhat of a triangle).

Ohh I see, but the lower lip overlapping his upper one was intentional because I wanted to make him look like he was pouting. I wouldn't normally overlap it like that.
Anyway, I'll make the eyes more triangular in future and put a line for the chin too.
Thank you for explaining that for me!

Wow! As many others have said, your background studies/progress is coming along nicely! There is one thing I did notice from the ocean-side study above. I think you benefit from taking a bigger risk with contrast. I think this is especially true in water scenes. Either way, you're really on the right track because they already look really good!

Keep it up!

Aaa thank you so much!
Alright, I'll definitely do that. Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you so much, it's nice to hear that because I really try to use nice colours!

^Referenced from Allison Stokke.^ I actually have no idea how to draw stomach muscles, so . . . yeah, they probably look a little weird.
Yay traditional art! I don't really like my sketchbook, but I thought I might as well upload it here anyway.

There's just way too many trees that I would need to put in there . . .
I like the first one with the Birch trees though.

A BIG ASS SCYTHE!
Still working on my style a bit (which I will forever want it to be an exact replica of Viria's but stealing someone's style is kinda rude so I gotta try make mine look appealing to myself oops) and also just some random canines that I drew for no reason? Yeah.

Great sketches! :D I love viria's style too XD
Here's a tip for your environment studies: if you find that the colors are too dull, you may want to tweak the hue and saturation a little until you're satisfied with that and then do the study ^^

Thank you, although I don't really recall giving them much personality?

This one is really big on my screen, (might be that I'm using a smaller laptop) so sorry if you have to zoom out to see it. Whoopsies, but I don't like resizing my art for . . . reasons?
I'll fix the sizing later. I did a lot more sketches but I don't want to start a flood of art. *scurries off to do the dishes*

[EDIT: I fixed the sizing but now the quality isn't as good.]

I don't know what the guy on the left is doing, but he looks like he's having fun (???) so Imma just . . . yeah.
Trying to be consistent with my style, because I'm always trying to change it, but it looks fine so the more I draw without purposely changing hopefully it will adapt to my liking . . . maybe, I dunno.
Oh well.

It has been a while, so I decided I might upload a small portion of what I've drawn. Also I'm no longer 14 (turned 15 on the 30th).
I've kinda been struggling with drawing humans, I just do not like my style for some reason. So as of late I've been drawing a lot of cats.

I decided to try and use blue as a shading colours turned out okay I guess.

A cat that bleeds flowers ??
Also I'm sorry that the images are really big, I hope you don't mind having to zoom out if youu have a small screen.

Lemme tell you, they're a lot easier to draw than humans.

I'm trying to get back into digital art, but it's really difficult. ;-;
