Subject title: mako's or nuttshell's things (NSFW)

So I thought, I'd post something every few days...

The photos are from stefan
Focused on the torso and legs, still having trouble with rendering.

Nice start man, I've seen some of Stefan's work over on DA. He's got nice lighting among other things lol. Are you just focusing on the figures or are dreading faces?

Wow, thanks! Now that's a moral boost! :)
And yeah, I focused on the figures and shading...I might get back to this to finish the heads and try coloring...
Below are a few portraits done with pencil a few weeks ago from the portrait reference tumblr. Digitally, they are still a pain for me, so I thought, I'd try practicing the shading process on something less complicated.
Sorry, these are pretty badly smudged...if you want, I will increase the contrast and reupload.

Oh, if you want some nice portrait reference, I suggest looking through pinterests galleries. They've got some nice ref for hairstyles as well.

Hey, love the face studies and the tone studies! I think theres something about the perspective of the eyes that looks off... Like the head is three quarters but eyes aren't, but I dunno great work keep going!

whut, those rendering studies though! I see you had a bit of trouble in the torso on the 2nd image, but really amazing nonetheless. Boobs are pretty hard, I think man boobs are harder for me.
Amazing sketchbook nutshell, I can't wait to see more.

Thank you Noncenz and Denksu :)
Yeah, 3/4 eyes are a mystery to me XD
And I had the biggest problems with the third image...I find light skin and round shapes very difficult.

Time for an update, I'll try to upload these in chronological order...I should probably put dates on them next time...
Can you guess which ones were with and without reference? xD
And in the last images, I drew the same person but from different references. Can you guess which one? I think, I couldn't but I'm a bit biased, so...

Hey! Thanks for checking out the sketchbook! I think the studies are going very well the foot studies are insane Ive been drawing for awhile and I still can't draw feet that well lol...

I still see a little struggle with 3/4ths eye... What helped me, but also sounds pretty obvious is studying the eye in profile and work on turning it... Or draw the eye as a sphere and wrap the eyelids around it after awhile it'll start clicking... Also keep in mind in the 3/4 the nose blocks a little of the eye which is another thing that sounds obvious but took me awhile to get cause it seems... Not right... Try pushing the nose forward a little...

Other than that great job great studies looking forward to seeing more! Oh for light skin there was a really good deviant art tut on it Ill see if I can find it...

I finally got around to making new stuff!

It's not much but I was veery busy building my website and figuring out social media...I have to go to a company for internship at the beginning of next year, so I have to prepare stuff. I drew a bunch but most of it is not that good, as I was usually drawing on the train :(

Hey guys, been a while...guess what? I got loads of new sketches!
The pictures are from my instagram, https://instagram.com/makobasuri/
I am "losing time" more and more, but I still draw on the train.
I would love to draw from reference more though, the people there don't really like being drawn...

Obviously, I heavily used reference for the colored one. It's Deborah Ann Woll. Can't find the referenced photo again...
