Agreed with Kuro on the productive part. You draw more in your sleep than I draw in a year! XD <3

Hahaa that self caricature good stuff, one thing to do now is make the figures feel more dynamic. Possibly its just me, they seems a bit stiff. How many pages you fill up in a day, and how you go about studying/practicing. As much as peoples say about been productive about filling up pages, there is also the side of "How much am I improving" by doodling. Nothing wrong with that! I do it as well.

Aside from that, keep at it!

You're absolutely right, I find I lack energy in a lot of my sketches, especially when doing character design. I instantly go to front view that you would use to character turn arounds or the 3/4 view. Just can't get that idea out of my head, but you're right, I need to work on movement.

I sketch 1 or 2 pages every day, but those pages are absolutely tiny at A5 size, so it really isn't that much. I had a bunch of studies a few pages back, but at the moment I'm taking a character design class, and a rendering class, which are a bit more focused, so I like to sketch to unwind. Apart from gestures and occasional inspiration from artists, I haven't done much studying and hence improvement in that sense. But my other classes ARE teaching me new things!

Long time without seeing this sketchbook!
Nice updates Axel, I really like the head sketches. All of them.

Hoho, you've picked the ones I didn't actually study! Those particular ones are from imagination applying what I learnt from the studies :D

Wow it looks like you've improved a lot since the beginning of this sketch book, and your designs have only become more creative! (huhuhu, owl-torso)

I really love those two characters, the devourer was pretty scary when you drew its furious face o_o)/

and your enviroment is also very nice, I love your colors a lot :)
Please excuse my ridiculous amounts of emoticon face usage. (QwQ)b

Thanks! I'm just getting comfortable with colour quite recently, so it's good to hear that things are working.

Been working on a game idea with some friends so I've been dedicating most of my art time towards that. And also procrastinating.

Nonetheless, I did manage to do some more finished pieces - and also started a Tumblr. :D
