Subject title: Skulldrool's Sketchbook Dump [NSFW]

Hi guys! Names Anthony and I've been watching Sycra for a while now, but i've been putting off making a post here for a while now. So here I am. I'm 22 and I I have been drawing (somewhat seriously) for almost 2 years now. I'm thinking I might want to do something with art as a career, but I'm still very unsure and not so confident with a lot of stuff. I feel like I have 100 years worth of studying to do to get any better. Most of this stuff will just be shit sketches using ref, studying and all that. I had made a similar thread like this on another site and it's got a loooot of my poopy beginner stuff, haha. You can check it out here -http://www.narutoforums.com/showthread.php?t=868054

Love your work! I have to say, your art looks really familiar. Is there any chance you post on other sites?

This is a lot of really cool stuff! Your character drawings are really nice, and I also really like those loose paintings in your latest post. Especially the one of the pancake. Can't wait to see more from you!

You catch the face expressions and overall "nature" of characters really well :)
I wonder if you have some refined work where you pushed yourself to workout the details? I would really like to see that on some of your pictures :D
Check out my sketchbook and leave a comment, I don't bite.. yet ^^

Thank you, thank you. You also have an awesome style. Really great stuff you've got

Thanks. Yea the pancake one was definitely the hardest of the bunch. Whip cream is just so hard to create. It probably would have helped if I had done a sketch, but I kinda just threw down blobs of color and tried to shape them up. Really hard that way, but kinda fun.

Thank you! It's funny you say that because I feel like my expressions and such are very dull and boring. I've been meaning to do some more expression studies, but laziness /shrug. Ummm these sketches are about as far as i go. As for working out details it's just a lot of observation and trial and error.

Love that last portrait so far. Are you going to push some more work into it? That could turn into something amazing O:!

Hmm I don't have much to post. Haven't been pushing myself beyond what I should be doing so I'm kinda of just floating in limbo doing studies ;/

A study that I ended up trying to tweak to make it look like Ruby from RWBY, but I got i tired of it. I'm really slacking on pushing myself to do more painting. All I ever do is shitty sketches  So Imma try to change that and try to post more frequently.

Very nice sketches. You have a lot of good flow and fluid lines, just need to nail down the consistency.

That recent study is nice, who is the original artist if you don't mind me asking?
