Subject title: Rogers Sketchbook

I used my brothers Ipad to paint and sketch out Jak! The stylus I used isn't really well suited for how detailed I tried to be but meh, its a hell lot better than doing it via mouse.

Did a couple studies today, posted the ones I like outta them. The reasons why the color is so yellow greenish is cause I sketch very lightly so I had to darken the images a tad bit.

Nice work :)
You really improved your anatomy and proportions, also the perspective including foreshortening is already pretty good.
One thing about your coloring is your colors are pretty muddy, try overlaying different colors, so that it looks more lively. Include surrounding colors on the material, because light hits the surroundings and reflects on your object, how much of the light is seen depends on the material. I think doing some studies would really help you a lot, keep it going!

Tell me if I'm wrong.. but it looks like you use airbrush alot? :P
I'd recommend keeping an eye on your values when colouring and using a more solid brush and then blending for soft edges (just because at the minute the colouring looks patchy).
Also your light source on your latest woman looks a bit confused? Maybe you can do some studies with light?
Other than that though, your gesture are coming along very nicely :)

Most of my recents one have been done on a ipad, so I'm not quite sure what tools I used. The last one had two light sources cause its technically in a studio but I got lazy and my hand cramped out on me while using my mouse. So yeah, I been saving up for an actual tablet so I wouldn't have to just use my mouse but that's a bit from now ^_^'
