Hey guys I´m Martin, currently 24 and live in Germany, been on this forum for quiet a while already, but I haven´t done a sketchbook so far, cause I don´t really have one.
So I picked a few of my recent works. In the future a wanna become an illustrator or concept artist, but so far, I just do what comes to my mind.

Welcome to the forum (well, the Sketchbook one at least)!

There's some nice stuff in here! I particularly like the landscape up there :D

It's always nice to meet fellow aspiring concept artists, best of luck to you!

Well thanks! Have no landscape this time, but some portaits showing my progress over the past years. Atleast I think that I progressed, because I have only a handful of portraits, not doing this very often.

Next landscape is still in production, still have to fix a few issues.

Thanks, technical things were the first things that I drew, and are still what I can do best.
For example that one:

Just can´t stick to one theme for too long, except for clouds, I can always draw clouds, never gettin sick of it. :D

So my next landscape has some clouds, even though they are in the back.

Thank you very much! Here I have the full design now, Cynthia! She is part of a military program called Project Golem. I have already some sort of a script of it in my head, but hey at the moment I have no time that I could spend on this.

Looks like my sketchbook is lying around lately, but I actually have some new stuff.
sarah-horvath-low.JPG
A portrait study, but I made a mistake with the nose, it´s too long which made the hole face longer in the end.
Kamereon forest-low.jpg
I´m not using photos that often, but for this one I wanted to try to get my work as realistic as possible. That´s the project i made it for : https://www.facebook.com/EnragedEntertainment
siedlerhaus-low.jpg
Well I´m a big fan of the settlers, so that´s enough to explain this one. :D

Looks like thanks to you I got one of my pictures featured in "New Discoveries" on Drawcrowd for the first time. So, Cheers! :D
Really don´t get how the system works there.

Found some pencil drawings, that I did while back, when I had no computer.
big-terrakota-low.JPG
The little figures suck a bit, but that´s is probably due to there minimal size.
Outlaw-low.JPG
Hmm, some of the perspective things went wrong, donno why I didn´t see that when I made it.

Thanks! Find it much easier then figures.

Speaking of figures, worked on this one for quiet a while. And I must admit that I felt very inspired by the music from the film "Reign of fire", and maybe by the film itself. :D
especially this piece of music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHsbe-KzwYI

"Fire, once it was our fellow, now it has turned against us.

We were ordinary people, had a home, a family, then the dragons came and our lives burned to ashes in their blazing breath, leaving nothing then bitter memories and this everlasting wish for revenge.

They turned us into what we are now... DRAGON KILLERS!

We hunt them, kill them, make them fear us . . .

EAT them! Hahaha!"

( Mistakes in grammar where placed to find them.)

Thanks, you both!

Got something new to upload. The painting is based on the drawings below, that I did about 1.5 years ago already. The third one is a picture of the big green guy, sitting one his "swampbike" back in the days before he joined the crew of the Mistral.
