Subject title: KeaneFox Sketches

Hi Keane!

I'm fairly new to the forum so I've only looked through here a couple of times. You definitely got a whole lot going for you on the construction side (/site :^) of things but I would love it a lot if you took a little bit more advantage of the fact that you're working on a 2D object and do like some crazy forms with marker to get a better grasp on shape design etc. - like you did for example with the composition practice, just a little bit more free :)

Have a great day and good look with your drawings!
...you see, it's supposed to be fi_le like the file from the computer... the one where you put the data things in.

@Moe lol I have been hanging around writers. And as much I enjoy that I'm not sure if I should just stick to drawing.

@ fi_le not sure if I fully get your point. I think you mean I should do more compositions, right?
Now I'm doing putting things in perspective exercise Focusing on making the drawing as finished as I can. Because before I stopped posting here I was apple to draw a bunch of studies but had really hard time doing one finished drawing.
Want to keep it simple for the time being at least. Probably can build up to eventually do crazy forms. If you don't mind giving me examples of crazy forms, I'm curious to see.

I really like your perspective drawings with the trees!
Your figures in the last drawing are, however, not in perspective. On your drawing the eye-line is pretty far down. We should be looking up at the characters whereas in your drawing, we are looking directly at them. I would highly recommend learning how to make your characters into basic shapes. This video is really good at explaining how to start going on about it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uEtdDvK6Xo.

Always happy to elaborate! What I mean with 'crazy forms' is letting it show that your piece is a drawing made out of appealingly designed forms, but still let it describe a form. An example would be from our favourite idiot who is also a genius: Robert Stacy, better known as Sinix! Here's the image from him showing the premise: http://img04.deviantart.net/af85/i/2005 ... _sinix.jpg

@ Plumbum Thank you I know what you mean. I guess i was focused on getting them in the one point perspective i didn't want to complicate more. But i will try better next time.

@fi_le I get your point. I think you mean use crazy triangles and sharp points, stuff like that. It depends on what you trying to get from art.

To be fair: it is one of the hardest angles to draw. I know I can't do it yet.

I'm learning clip studio. The tools I use are the ink and pencil pens mostly. It has a lot of stuff to learn. I want to try coloring in clip later. For now just the ink and pencil.

It's done. The lineart was outdated and had messy parts that made coloring it hard. Will talk what I learned from it to the next try.

Been finishing one to two drawings a month. A drawing takes around 4 days of 8 hours a day.

You got a nice flow to your characters, they feel very firm and solid in their poses. Also nice rendering technique.

@Overloader Been picking up techniques in clip studio. Working on keeping a steady process. I start with a base like this. Tried to make it like your style.

Been doing sketching/coloring/tutorial watching/story making but didn't do finished drawing for the last two and some months. A downside of doing the fast sketching drawing/numbers for a long time you might find yourself losing the ability to focus on one drawing and finishing it. I guess thats why there is a 30sec 5-10 min 30min 1hour drawings/sketch. I mostly did the 30sec 5-10 min ones. Just did an almost finished lineart today so thats good.
Here another drawing I'm working on getting it colored. now working on the design and lineart.

It's really cool to see the process and evolution of this drawing! Lovely lineart.

@ And part of it is for me to remember my own process. Sometime I'll figure out a good way of doing something then forget all about it. Thank you. No update for the linear but I will be getting around to it.
Now my time is split between drawing and story making. And a bunch of other little things.
This is a rough idea. I need to design a symbol and clean it.
